About Our Client
We are currently representing our client, leading player in the Manufacturing industry, with a global footprint across various countries. Having said that, they are looking for dynamic and result oriented candidate for the role of a HRBP to sit in their CoE site here in Kuala Lumpur.
Responsible for the day-to-day HR generalist services across the NEA sites, this position requires travelling to NEA sites as when necessary.
Implement and monitor HR processes and policies in accordance with local legislation, relevant agreements and compliance with HR global and region Processes
Recruitment and selection of highest qualified candidates to meet key role requirements of operating and functional areas in conjunction with the relevant line manager
Prepare and administer employment offers and contracts in accordance with legislation and company policies.
Coordinate in-house and external public training programs and administer the pre- and post-training evaluation.
Work with line managers to perform TNA to identify the training and development needs of employees, develop training schedules, organize and track training of employees.
Coordinate with local management in identifying employees for succession planning and leadership development pathways
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Ensuring internal salary structure and Hay job evaluation methodology ensuring competitive 'market rates' on remuneration offerings
Supervise the operation of job evaluation, review of job descriptions and performance appraisal program
Managing overall expatriate mobilization which includes visa immigration process for hiring of offshore employees and be responsible for the renewal.
Prepare periodical HR reports to include but not limited to vacancy report, fluctuation report and other ad-hoc reports as required.
Roll out global and region HR initiatives as appropriate
The Successful Applicant
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management.
Minimum 7 years working in Human Resources working within a Manufacturing Industry with experience working within an SSC/CoE environment as a HRBP.
In-depth knowledge of labour laws eg. Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, Trade Union Act 1959, Industrial Court, Labour Court, union management etc.
Requires high level of interaction with multiple departments and ability to communicate, collaborate and convince managers at many levels (higher and lower) on best plan to achieve company goals.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to juggle, and prioritize multiple tasks. Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, train, coach and consult the HR team members
