Job Description

Strategic HR Leadership & Business Partnership:

  • Partner closely with the GM and business leaders to understand business goals and translate them into effective HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leadership on all people-related matters, including organizational design, talent management, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Provide insightful HR data and analytics to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement in people practices.
  • Contribute to the overall business strategy and decision-making processes as a key member of the leadership team.



Talent Acquisition & Onboarding (Agile Focus):

  • Develop and implement agile and efficient talent acquisition strategies to attract and secure top talent in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management, with a focus on speed and quality.
  • Design and deliver a seamless and engaging onboarding experience to integrate new hires quickly and effectively.
  • Develop employer branding initiatives to attract and retain top talent within the fintech sector.



Talent Management & Development:

  • Develop and implement performance management processes that drive high performance and provide meaningful feedback.
  • Identify and address talent development needs, creating opportunities for learning and growth aligned with business objectives and individual aspirations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
  • Support career development and succession planning initiatives.



Compensation & Benefits:

  • Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking to ensure our compensation and benefits are aligned with market standards.



Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Proactively identify and address potential employee relations issues to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to foster employee engagement, motivation, and a strong company culture.
  • Drive initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.



HR Operations & Compliance:

  • Oversee all HR operational processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that are aligned with the company's values and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations in Malaysia.



Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, credible relationships with the GM, business leaders, and employees at all levels.
  • Effectively communicate HR initiatives and updates to all stakeholders.
  • Influence and advise business leaders on people-related strategies and decisions.



The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Lead should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with a significant portion in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment (ideally within the Financial institution industry).
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, working closely with senior leadership.
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, talent management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and HR operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with business leaders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly agile and dynamic environment with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Experience with HR technology and systems.
