Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day HR functions, ensuring accurate HR data, smooth employee relations, effective performance management, and proper policy enforcement.
  • Develop and improve HR processes to enhance efficiency while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment process across SEA, collaborating with hiring managers to assess workforce needs and implement strategic hiring plans.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to support current and future business needs, while also developing relationships with universities and educational institutions to enhance employer branding.
  • Design and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace satisfaction.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers, offering guidance on employee relations and conflict resolution to foster a positive work environment.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and professional growth. Work with managers to assess training needs, create career development pathways, and oversee employee onboarding.
  • Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and introduce new learning solutions to align with organisational goals and industry trends.
  • Align HR strategies with business objectives by providing insights on workforce planning, performance management, and employee development.
  • Analyse HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement while leading HR projects that support organisational growth and operational efficiency.
  • Manage compensation structures to ensure competitiveness in the market while maintaining internal equity.
  • Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance and employee perks.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for salary adjustments, promotions, and incentive programs to attract and retain top talent.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Manager should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Must-have prior experience in a similar role within the Retail industry
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and legal regulations
  • Exposure leading a large team
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Mandarin
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion
  • Regional exposure is an added advantage
