About Our Client
Our client is a growing nation's largest retailer in the pharma industry. They are a diverse community of people, all working together to bring sensational style, sensible prices and the best service possible to their customers. They are looking for talent HR generalist to function as the HR Manager who wants to work in an energetic, respectful, collaborative environment.
Reporting to the CEO, the Human Resources Manager will be a business partner, co-managing the people side of the business in support of the people strategy. In this position, the HR Manager will solve organizational challenges with HR tools and innovations. This role will be a guardian and teacher of their culture and values. You will maintain and enhance the Human Resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
The ideal candidate will be a creative, collaborative, results-oriented HR generalist who is particularly adept at balancing multiple priorities and issues and making crucial decisions. This role requires an individual to be dedicated in developing the HR infrastructure and possess a strong work ethic, a passion for managing the details within a growing business and willing to contribute where necessary.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate must be based in Penang and have the following attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related emphasis is preferred
- Minimum 4-5 years HR generalist experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the following: organizational development knowledge, communication skills (both written and verbal), interpersonal skills, general consultative skills, presentation skills, and data collection/data analysis.
- Must be based in Penang
