Job Description

  • Develop and execute long‑term sourcing and category strategies for critical materials and services.
  • Lead global supplier selection, qualification, validation, and ongoing risk management.
  • Build a resilient, diversified supply base to mitigate geopolitical, material scarcity, and logistical risks.
  • Serve as the primary interface with global CM partners, especially during NPI and mass production ramp-up.
  • Oversee CM production planning and capacity alignment according to customer demand.
  • Drive manufacturing partner performance, ensuring top-tier quality standards and strong first‑pass yields.
  • Lead complex negotiations including high‑value contracts, MPAs, and open‑book cost models.
  • Establish and track KPIs such as OTD, supplier defects, TCO, and compliance metrics (ISO, ESG, audits).
  • Conduct regular business reviews with strategic suppliers and CMs.
  • Manage large annual spend portfolios and deliver significant cost reduction initiatives.
  • Optimize inventory levels to support availability while improving working capital efficiency.
  • Champion operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives at supplier sites.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, R&D, and Finance to ensure manufacturability (DFM) and alignment with business growth initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow high‑performing teams across procurement, planning, and program management.
  • Enhance digital supply chain capabilities using ERP systems (Oracle) and advanced analytics.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10-15 years' experience in sourcing, supply chain, or procurement leadership roles.
  • Strong background in contract manufacturing environments and complex supplier negotiation.
  • Experience working in multinational, matrix-driven organizations.
  • Strategic, analytical, and data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities.
  • Strong leadership competencies with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP systems (Oracle experience preferred).
