Job Description

  • Oversee the daily operations of the shared services center for accounting and finance functions.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and deliver regular progress reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve service delivery.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes for the shared services center.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive cost savings and efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of SSC should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement.
