They are committed to driving innovation and maintaining excellence in their field, offering opportunities for professional growth and impactful contributions.Job DescriptionAct as a strategic advisor to the Board and Senior Management, providing commercially focused legal and compliance guidance aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.Develop and implement a global legal and compliance strategy to support organisational growth and international expansion.Design and oversee group-wide compliance frameworks, policies, and training programmes across multiple jurisdictions, covering anti-bribery and corruption, AML, data protection, sanctions, and export controls.Monitor regulatory developments and ensure the ongoing effectiveness of governance and compliance systems.Promote a culture of integrity and ethical conduct, overseeing whistle-blowing matters, investigations, and regulatory interactions.Lead all legal matters, including commercial contracts, M&A, joint ventures, financing, intellectual property, employment, property, and dispute resolution.Oversee contract life cycle management and proactively mitigate legal and regulatory risks associated with new initiatives and market expansion.Establish legal policies, templates, and processes to enhance efficiency and consistency.Manage disputes and litigation strategy to achieve commercially sound outcomes.Appoint and oversee external counsel to ensure high-quality, cost-effective legal services.Build and lead a high-performing global legal and compliance team, ensuring alignment and consistency across jurisdictions.The Successful ApplicantA successful Head of Legal & Compliance should have:Bachelor of Laws (LLB or equivalent) and admission to practise in at least one common law jurisdiction.10-15 years' post-qualification experience in legal and compliance, including in-house roles and senior leadership exposure.Experience within highly regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, energy, or technology will be viewed as an added advantage.Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-border legal and compliance matters in fast-paced or high-growth environments.Strong understanding of international regulatory regimes, corporate governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.Strategic and forward-looking, with the ability to anticipate regulatory change and emerging risks.Commercially minded, balancing legal risk with business priorities.Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior management.What's on OfferOpportunity to lead and shape the Legal department.Supportive and professional company culture.Comprehensive benefits package.This is a great opportunity for an experienced legal professional to take on a leadership role in a thriving organization.
