Our client is an established leading multinational retail organization with a strong global presence.

Job Description

Retail HR Operations:

  • Oversee and manage all HR operations across retail stores.
  • Provide guidance and support to store managers on HR-related matters.
  • Address and resolve complex disciplinary issues, including conducting on-site investigations when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.



Strategic HR Partnership:

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR initiatives that support business goals.
  • Develop and execute talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies.
  • Drive performance management, compensation, and benefits programs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational change initiatives.



Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of 3 HR professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to team members.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.



Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Actively engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs and address HR-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with store managers and regional leaders to ensure effective HR support.
  • Work closely with legal counsel on complex HR matters.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on the retail industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing HR operations in a multi-site retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking, and business acumen.
