Job Description

  • Oversee the financial planning and analysis function to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies to align with organizational goals.
  • Lead budgeting processes and provide recommendations for resource allocation.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Mentor and guide the FP&A team to enhance their skills and capabilities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of FP&A should have:

  • Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting within the Education/related sector of at least 8 years'.
  • Strong leadership skills, having managed teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex financial data.
  • Experience in leading teams and collaborating across departments.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present financial insights.
  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance, such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools to streamline processes.
