About Our Client

We are currently representing our client, leading player in the manufacturing industry with a global footprint. A dynamic organization that is looking for a result oriented candidate for the role of a Group HR Manager.

Job Description

  • Make decisions about the day-to-day operation; act as main contact point to internal/external clients for general enquiries and issue resolutions in defined areas of the overall HR spectrum.
  • Supports the recruitment and selection of all staff for the company.
  • Reviews and updates the Employee Handbook on a periodic basis to ensure that it is updated from time to time and with relevant policies for improvement and in the Company's Staff e-Portal.
  • Ensure site HR policies, processes, and programs are enforced in a fair and consistent manner. Make recommendations for improvement or adjustments where necessary.
  • Overall in charge of the Group's disciplinary process including investigation into misconducts; preparing show cause letters; conducting domestic inquiries and recommending the appropriate punishment to be meted out;
  • Manage site payroll, social security, provident fund and other HR operations; Monitor the quality of service
  • Leadership of HR & Administration team; Provide guidance, feedback, coach to subordinates.
  • Working along side business leaders on developing and implementing various Talent Development programmes for succession planning.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the departments. (HR & EHS)
  • Oversee constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Oversee discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 7 years senior HR experience, within manufacturing in high manpower operations.
  • Trackrecord of leading a high performing HR team for a minimum of 5 years, showing excellent leadership and people development skills.
  • Great capability to lead and motivate a high-performing team
  • Continuously looking for value creating initiatives and never accepts poor performance
  • Ability to set the agenda and convince stakeholders
  • Results-driven, improvement-oriented, "can do" attitude
