Job Description

  • Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for plastic injection components.
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Lead supplier negotiations to achieve cost savings and maintain strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in the supply chain.
  • Ensure sustainability and ethical practices in the procurement process.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics for supplier performance and cost efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to regional procurement teams.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Global Category Manager - Plastic Injection should have:

  • A degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in global procurement within the life sciences or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of plastic injection manufacturing and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
