The GL (Vietnamese Speaker) plays a vital role in our Accounting & Finance team within our Industrial / Manufacturing Department. The role requires fluency in Vietnamese and expertise in general ledger management.

About Our Client

Our client is a large organization with a significant global footprint in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. Located in SHAH ALAM, Malaysia, they are renowned for their commitment to quality and innovation.

Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including general ledger preparation and reconciliation
  • Work closely with the finance team in Vietnam to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Ensure compliance with the company's financial policies and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts
  • Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits
  • Continuously improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions

The Successful Applicant

A successful GL (Vietnamese Speaker) should have:

  • Local Malaysian / Spouse-visa holder
  • A degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Fluency in Vietnamese to collaborate with the finance team in Vietnam
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger functions
  • Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
