Job Description

  • Handle end-to-end general ledger activities, including posting journal entries and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements for theAPAC market.
  • Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations to guarantee the accuracy of financial data.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner, collaborating with internal teams as needed.
  • Execute and oversee transactional processing related to general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
  • Validate and post financial transactions in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the generation of accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation and processes comply with regulatory standards.
  • Uphold a strong control environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the APAC region, addressing inquiries and providing financial information as required.
  • Support a positive team environment by fostering open communication and knowledge sharing.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven 3-4 years of experience as a General Ledger Specialist or similar role within a Shared Service Center environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly those relevant to the APAC market.
  • Familiarity with SAP system is a MUST
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for successful collaboration within a multicultural environment.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are a plus.
