Job Description

  • Oversees of master data for asset accounting
  • Management of asset period end processing and reporting
  • Execution of more intricate transactional and rule-based activities within agreed timelines
  • Accountability for monitoring data quality, ensuring assurance of transactional and rule-based data quality, and conducting peer checks for data accuracy
  • Addressing queries to resolve issues during transaction handling and explaining procedures and control requirements according to SOP
  • Examination of financial statements, reconciliations, and notes to accounts
  • Creation of analytic reports and/or accounting schedules, scrutiny for irregularities, and formulation of investigation and corrective action plans
  • Assisting Retained Finance in preparing data,information,notes required for statutory audit, internal audit, IFRS audit
  • Adherence to service levels, internal controls, company policies, and procedures
  • Recognition of repetitive issues or risks and suggestion of improvement opportunities for enhanced efficiency
  • Resolution of identified operational issues and escalation to the supervisor when necessary
  • Participation in SAP UAT and support in enhancement projects, contributing to continuous process improvements
  • Handling any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor

The Successful Applicant

  • 4-6 years of working experience in Finance/accounting
  • Experience and knowledge in MNC finance/ Shared services center environment
  • Audit experience in Big 4 Audit firms will be an added advantage
  • Proficiency in SAP is a must
  • Strong financial, analytical, accounting, written & verbal communication skills
