Job Description

  • Drive both sell-in and sell-out performance across Modern Trade and General Trade channels to meet sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to enhance market share and brand presence.
  • Manage and collaborate closely with distributors to ensure alignment with the company's objectives.
  • Track and optimize distributor KPIs including inventory levels, market coverage, and sales force efficiency.
  • Ensure in-store execution excellence through regular market visits, coaching, and close engagement with the field team.
  • Oversee compliance with planograms, pricing strategy, brand visibility, and share of shelf across outlets.
  • Drive initiatives to improve both numeric and weighted distribution in key accounts and retail stores.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of Sales Representatives and/or Supervisors.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales reporting, market insights, and forecasts to upper management.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement action plans to support continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (people management experience is an added advantage)
  • Strong knowledge of the Pahang market, with existing relationships in retail and distribution preferred.
  • Experience in both General Trade and Modern Trade is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in managing distributors and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills (proficiency in Mandarin is preferred).
  • Willing to travel extensively within Pahang.
