We are seeking a highly motivated FP&A Analyst with shared services experience to join our finance team. The FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting for our shared services function. This position will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to drive efficiency, accuracy, and optimization of shared services operations.

Job Description

  • Partner with shared services leaders to develop and maintain annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of shared services costs, performance metrics, and key drivers to provide insights and support decision-making.
  • Prepare variance analysis of actual results compared to budget, forecast, and prior periods for shared services functions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial models and tools to optimize resource allocation and improve cost-effectiveness.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes for shared services, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with shared services teams to identify process improvements, cost-saving opportunities, and efficiency gains.
  • Prepare management reporting packages and presentations for shared services leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects related to shared services operations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on supporting shared services operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of shared services concepts, processes, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with shared services teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
