Finance Manager

Responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations in Malaysia and Singapore, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, taxes, audits, reporting, and compliance.

Accounting | Tax | Audit

• Supervise and manage the accounting team across both markets, ensuring compliance with legal standards, efficiency, and consistency.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Ensure the team possesses a high level of local accounting expertise.
• Coordinate compliance with both internal and external accounting guidelines.
• Manage relationships with fiscal authorities, auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders.
• Oversee treasury management activities.
• Monitor the legal environment, suggesting procedural changes and fiscal optimization strategies as needed.
• Track supplier litigations and manage associated liabilities.

Controlling | Reporting

• Develop and manage budget projections and financial forecasts.
• Translate budgets into key objectives for departments and regions.
• Ensure accurate reporting to group and local stakeholders, including maintaining internal controls for compliance.
• Conduct financial analyses to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Act as a business partner for internal stakeholders in sales and support.
• Contribute to the overarching vision for the profit and loss account.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools.
• Monitor financial risks and create strategies to mitigate them.
