They have strong presence locally and has partnered with the big players in the market.Job DescriptionYou will in be in charge ofFinancial Leadership & Team Management:Lead and manage the finance team in Malaysia, including accountants and other finance personnel.Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to team members.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring efficient and effective processes.Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.Financial Reporting & Compliance (Malaysia Focus):Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and relevant statutory requirements.Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns (e.g., corporate tax, SST) in compliance with Malaysian tax laws.Ensure compliance with local regulations and reporting requirements set by bodies like Bank Negara Malaysia (if applicable) and the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process in accordance with Malaysian regulations.Financial Planning & Analysis:Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans for the Malaysian operations.Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and providing insightful commentary.Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making, including investment analysis, pricing strategies, and business expansion.Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive profitability and growth in the Malaysian market.Treasury & Cash Management:Manage the company's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs in Malaysia.Oversee banking relationships and manage bank accounts in Malaysia.Manage foreign exchange risk, considering the impact of currency fluctuations on Malaysian operations.Internal Controls & Risk Management:Implement and maintain a strong system of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial information in accordance with best practices and local regulations.Identify and assess financial risks relevant to the Malaysian business environment and develop mitigation strategies.Business Partnering & Communication:Act as a key financial business partner to other departments within the Malaysian operations, providing financial guidance and support.Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.Prepare financial presentations for management and other stakeholders.The Successful ApplicantYou will be suitable for the this role if youBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional accounting qualification (e.g., MIA, ACCA, CPA) is essential.Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in a finance role, with significant experience in Malaysia.Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and local tax regulations.Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.What's on OfferYou will be rewarded with an attractive of RM 10000- RM 13000 monthly.ContactSue Wen LooiQuote job refJN-032025-6689787Phone number6012 327 0601Job summaryFunctionFinance & AccountingSpecialisationFinance ManagerWhat is your area of specialisation?Industrial / ManufacturingLocationNilaiContract TypePermanentConsultant nameSue Wen LooiConsultant contact6012 327 0601Job ReferenceJN-032025-6689787
