Job Description

  • Receive, verify, and process invoices in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Input and update financial data in accounting systems and software, maintaining accurate records of transactions.
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries, and manage account-related issues.
  • Prepare and execute payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and other payment methods, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and statements to ensure that all payments are accurately recorded and discrepancies are addressed.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date records of invoices, payments, and other financial documents for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and accurate reimbursement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements in all accounts payable activities.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting
  • At least 3 years of experience preferably in a Commercial line.
  • Analytical minded and attention to detail.
  • Customer centric individual.
  • Experience in JD Edwards is an added advantage.
