We're searching for a Finance Director for MY & Singapore to lead the Accounting & Finance department in the FMCG/Retail industry. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations, implement strategies, and drive financial performance.

Job Description

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
  • Provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
  • Ensure credibility of finance department by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
  • Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation, and reporting to the Company.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk.
  • Provide financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline.
  • Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Director should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Preferably someone with professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW etc)
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the FMCG/Retail industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
