This job is for auditing part of the ASPIRE program in the area of Financial Compliance (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and Financial Approvals/Delegation of Authorities) for rollouts of Sales Affiliates and/or Manufacturing Sites in the APAC/ EMEA/ NA/ LATAM region.

Job Description

  • Led FIT-to-Template workshops to assess and align current financial compliance processes with the future ASPIRE Global Template.
  • Acted as the main liaison with local affiliate finance stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of Financial Compliance requirements.
  • Conducted in-depth assessments of localization needs related to ICFR (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting) and financial approval structures.
  • Contributed to Change Impact Assessments, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption of new processes across financial functions.
  • Executed testing activities (UT, SAT, UAT, REG) for financial approvals during system deployment phases.
  • Managed and delivered Key User and End User training programs, ensuring readiness and adoption prior to system go-live.

The Successful Applicant

  • Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage.
  • Brings 5+ years of relevant business experience or equivalent project management expertise in Finance, Demand to Pay (D2P), or internal controls (ICFR)/Audit.
  • Possesses broad knowledge of finance-related business processes, policies, and programs, with a strong understanding of compliance frameworks.
  • Demonstrates strong project and stakeholder management skills, with proven success in communication and change management. Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Skilled at identifying, driving, and implementing process/control improvements based on deep knowledge of Finance operations.
  • Highly collaborative and consultative, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
  • Fluent in English and Japanese with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
