About Our Client

Our client is a well-established, technology-driven manufacturing organisation operating within a high-volume production environment. The company places strong emphasis on equipment reliability, quality systems, and continuous engineering improvement to support business and customer requirements.

Job Description

  • Maintain and support Automated Test Equipment (ATE) testers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Establish and execute equipment operating procedures and preventive maintenance programmes.
  • Drive engineering improvements to enhance cost efficiency, quality, capability, and throughput.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, hardware, and PCB issues up to component level.
  • Support FT testing and manage tester uptime, downtime, and board downrate.
  • Oversee spare parts management, inventory planning, and cost control.
  • Provide training and technical guidance on equipment operation and troubleshooting.
  • Work with ATE handlers such as Delta, Advantest, Hontech, and JHT Pick & Place handlers.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering (or higher).
  • 4-6+ years of experience in equipment development or maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in tester and test handler maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of FT testing, PCB troubleshooting, and debugging.
  • Familiarity with ISO9000 / QS9000 quality systems is advantageous.
  • A proactive, independent team player with strong communication skills
