Job Description



  • Lead and manage an engineering squad, overseeing daily tasks, projects, and growth.


  • Drive coding, design, and architecture standards through hands-on technical leadership.


  • Align with product managers on project scope, timelines, and business objectives.


  • Mentor team members on technical challenges and career development.


  • Facilitate Agile practices: sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives, and continuous improvements.


  • Design and implement scalable IP and Voice data stream processing solutions.


  • Address technical debt, performance issues, and risks in team projects.


  • Promote a positive team culture focused on innovation and knowledge sharing.


  • Conduct one-on-ones, manage team performance, and provide feedback.


  • Align squad goals with company objectives through collaboration with leadership.


  • Support hiring to grow and maintain a diverse, high-performing team.



The Successful Applicant



  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.


  • 8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in leadership or mentoring roles.


  • Proficient in C/C++ with knowledge of modern standards and frameworks.


  • Strong grasp of network protocols, IP traffic, and telecommunications engineering.


  • Skilled in multi-threaded programming, performance tuning, and distributed systems.


  • Experienced with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum and Kanban.


  • Proven ability to lead successful software projects and drive technical initiatives.


  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to support team through technical challenges.


  • Strong communicator with the ability to explain complex topics to all audiences.
