The company is known for its commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and providing employees with opportunities to grow their careers.Job DescriptionOversee the operation and preventive maintenance of the plant's electrical infrastructure, including the 11KV substation, transformers, high/low voltage distribution panels, 400V power systems, UPS, inverters, and SCADA systems.Ensure maintenance plans are current and executed effectively.Conduct regular assessments of electrical systems to identify safety risks and implement corrective actions.Lead optimisation and energy efficiency initiatives across power and utility systems.Manage small-scale electrical projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance with national standards and technical specifications.Analyse monthly energy consumption data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.Support the planning, design, commissioning, and acceptance of electrical systems for new construction and expansion projects.Provide technical guidance for maintenance and servicing activities.Perform other duties as assigned by management.The Successful ApplicantA successful Electrical Engineer should have:Experience & Technical ExpertiseMinimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and operations within industrial facilities; experience in automotive manufacturing or large enterprises is preferred.Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics and familiar with national electrical standards and regulations.Extensive experience in facility construction, commissioning, and operations.Strong command of high and low voltage systems, including transformers, switchgear, capacitor banks, UPS, ATS, and protective relays. Capable of identifying critical risks and resolving complex electrical faults independently.Skilled in writing advanced electrical logic programs.Familiar with power electronics components such as thyristors and IGBTs, including their principles and characteristics.Systems & ToolsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.Capable of developing and leading electrical operation and maintenance systems, including PM schedules, emergency plans, and SOPs.Experienced in energy consumption analysis and reporting, with the ability to identify and address inefficiencies.Project & Compliance KnowledgeWell-versed in local construction procedures, engineering laws and regulations, and technical standards.Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee engineering quality and compliance.Language & CommunicationProficient in English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities.Personal AttributesHealthy and free from any condition that may affect work performance.Highly responsible, mission-driven, and committed to excellence.Able to work under pressure with a positive, proactive attitude.Strong leadership presence with influence and team motivation skills.Professional, dedicated, and aligned with company values and culture.What's on OfferCompetitive annual salary of MYR 4000-8000.Opportunities for career growth within a multinational corporation.A supportive and innovative work environment.Comprehensive benefits package.This is a permanent position located in Selangor, Malaysia.
