About Our Client

My client is a market leader in turnkey solutions for the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, Pharmaceutical & Power industries for more than 50 years. They are currently expanding the business and seeking for a potential candidate to be part of the team.

Job Description

  • Design various types of heat exchangers, including shell and tube, air-cooled, condensers, and reboilers, using client-provided process data.
  • Analyze client process details, perform P&ID studies, and conduct thermal design using HTRI software.
  • Optimize heat exchanger designs during the bidding stages to enhance project outcomes.
  • Select appropriate heat exchanger materials and optimize tube layouts through detailed process calculations.
  • Collaborate effectively with other disciplines, departments, and third parties to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Lead the preparation and thorough review of techno-commercial estimations for static equipment, including heat exchangers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and inspection agencies to ensure project success.



The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma or Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Preferably 5+ years of experience in consulting and engineering within the oil & gas and petrochemical industries.
  • Proficient in using HTRI and other advanced heat exchanger design software.
  • Experienced in utilizing PV Elite and Compress.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry Codes and Standards (TEMA, ASME, API) related to Pressure Equipment and Heat Exchangers.
  • Familiar with Client Engineering Standards and Specifications to ensure customized and compliant solutions.
