Customer Quality Engineer

The Customer Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the products and services provided to customers meet the highest quality standards.The CQE will work closely with customers, production teams, and other stakeholders to address quality-related issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Our client is an established MNC in the packaging material industry. They are currently looking for highly capable individuals to grow them to further heights.

Job Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on quality-related matters.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their quality requirements and expectations.
  • Handle customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure products meet customer specifications.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of products and processes.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Investigate quality issues and customer complaints, using root cause analysis tools.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality problems.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
  • Use quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in quality improvement projects.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to management and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in quality assurance techniques.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering role, preferably in the labelling industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
  • Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or other quality-related programs is a plus.
