Job Description

As this role is essential to the organization, it is vital candidate comes with a track record of delivery and proven experience. Among the many responsibilities are listed below:

  • To prepare public documents including announcements, presentations, annual reports, press releases etc
  • To manage relationships with existing shareholders and potential investors
  • To manage relationship with other stakeholders, such as the government, the community and the public
  • To liaise with professional advisers in relation to corporate proposals or fund-raising activities as and when required
  • To generate relevant reports/analysis to help facilitate management's decision-making process
  • To analyse data gathered from other departments and provide insight into their operations
  • To conduct market research relating to various aspects of the business
  • To work hand in hand with 3rd party service providers or business partners domestically and in various other geographies
  • To work hand-in-hand with the business development team to explore new markets for existing brands/concepts, as well as new brands/concepts altogether
  • To provide ad-hoc assistance to top management/other departments as and when required

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Corporate Finance & Strategy Assistant Manager will be confident in leading from the front and be responsible for the growth of the company and must possess the below requirements;

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting/Banking or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and arithmetic skills. The ability to identify and collect relevant data efficiently & distil insights from qualitative and quantitative analyses are vital
  • Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel specifically), Bloomberg, Capital IQ etc
  • Excellent organisational, oral and written communication skills. The ability to ask relevant and probing questions are imperative
  • A can-do attitude is imperative to the success of this position/job
  • Candidate must be a strong team contributor as job involves internal and external parties both domestically and in various other geographies
  • Must be resourceful and tenacious in approaching work related issues
  • Humility and have the ability to appreciate various other views/opinions is one of the critical success factors of this position/job
