A Controllership Analyst is a critical role in the Accounting & Finance department, responsible for providing analytical support and ensuring financial integrity within the life science industry.

Job Description

  • Perform routine journal entries and balance sheet reviews.
  • Organize and compile quarterly controllership review meetings and checklists.
  • Identify and escalate financial/accounting issues; collaborate with stakeholders for resolution.
  • Lead/participate in RTR standardization and process improvement initiatives.
  • Advise on financial impact of process changes and assess system/process efficiencies.
  • Drive enhancements and resolve gaps in RTR processes.
  • Support various ad-hoc assignments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Controllership Analyst' should have:

  • Degree in Accounting or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong background in accounting, process improvement, and reporting.
  • Experience in multinational or US-based organizations preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office (esp. Excel); ERP experience (e.g., JDE, Oracle, SAP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and RTR processes.
  • Professional certification (CPA/ACCA) and Lean Six Sigma is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work under pressure, manage priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
