In this role, you will be responsible for statutory reporting, balance sheet governance, cash management, transfer pricing, and financial control frameworks (FCF). You will support one or more markets while working closely with Finance teams, including Cluster CFOs, Country Business Partners, and MC Controllers.

Job Description



    • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.


    • Maintain a strong control environment across the region, ensuring compliance with financial control frameworks (FCF).


    • Prioritize balance sheet health and ensure financial accuracy.


    • Act as a business partner to Marketing Companies and Global Finance Services (GFS).


    • Support working capital and cash generation initiatives.


    • Oversee transfer pricing, providing precise information for new pricing models and annual revisions.


    • Manage statutory reporting, working with external partners to ensure accurate and timely submissions to regulatory authorities.


    • Identify and resolve complex financial issues, collaborating cross-functionally to address root causes and implement solutions.


    • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and alignment with business needs.



    Additional Responsibilities:



    • Provide financial insights and analysis to support informed business decisions.


    • Ensure compliance with corporate governance and financial reporting controls.


    • Continuously identify and implement process standardization and efficiency improvements.


    • Utilize financial data to conduct variance analysis and provide meaningful commentary on statutory reports.


    • Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, MicroStrategy, Power Automate) is an added advantage.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Controller should have:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.


  • Minimum 4 years of experience in General Accounting, Controlling, or a similar role.


  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial matters to non-financial stakeholders.


  • Proven experience in change management and stakeholder engagement.


  • Ability to work effectively within diverse, global teams.


  • Proficiency in SAP is required.
