Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for the packaging category.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance and quality standards.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and industry trends.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
  • Prepare regular reports on category performance and procurement activities.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Category Manager (Packaging) should have:

  • A relevant degree in supply chain, procurement, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in procurement and supply chain management within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
