About Our Client
Our client is one of the market leader in VAS telco industry with an excellent reputation both globally and locally. They are looking for a highly skilled professional who can expand and drive business growth through targeted and effective sales among the various industries. This is an opportunity to really put your name on the map in a MNC organisation if you deliver in what is a high potential area and offer bespoke solutions.
You will be reporting to the CEO. This will involve direct sales, through the identification, qualification and solution provision for new clients, as well as increasing revenues and services offered to existing accounts. The organization has a decent track record in the region but they are looking to further expand their market share and grow profitability quickly.
Key elements of the job will involve:
- Drive business development and meet objectives around win rate, conversion rate and revenue and gross margin growth.
- Actively promote and sell our services and solutions in accordance to business plan. The focus is on ocean, air, warehouse and distribution, land side services.
- Establish relationships and develop business with new customers.
- Work with the operational teams inside and outside Philippines to on-board new customers flawlessly.
- Ensure high level of communication and collaboration across the teams to deliver world class products and services.
- Responsible for the sales budget and activity targets.
- Develop and follow up on sales leads.
- Update weekly and monthly sales pipeline and reporting.
- Assist in the development, formulation and implementation of sales plan.
- Collate information pertaining to current developments and trends on trade, commodities, customers and competition.
The Successful Applicant
This is an opportunity for a proven Sales Professional or Business Development Manager looking to accelerate their career into a CM position. You must have worked with Mobile Operators. Commercially astute, a driven and hungry sales professional you will demonstrate the energy, drive and passion for building successful sales teams and a track record of increasing profitability and expanding revenue streams.
Key requirements include:
- You must be a Filipino national.
- An understanding of telco business drivers.
- Established key contacts, ideally within SME's or local networks
- Experience of managing and driving successful sales activities
- Proven sales track record closing services deals
- You must have worked within the telecommunication industry in the Philippines.
