Job Description

The Chief Transformation Officer would take a holistic and big picture approach to transformation and provide guidance and advice to all functional heads and initiative owners. The CTO would also ensure that the ambitions of all stakeholders is closely aligned to the company's overarching transformation goals

  • Achievement of volume growth as well as value realization in targeted product segments
  • Working closely with PPIC and marketing team to define capacity and pricing guidelines, processes and frameworks to help achieve budgeted targets
  • Proactively flagging potential risks and roadblocks; defining action plan to mitigate impact
  • Regular cost review and implementation of cost control framework
  • Operational assessment (throughput / OEE, labour productivity, yield loss, etc.)
  • Review variance in standard vs actual cost
  • Identify initiatives and drive actions to minimize cost variance
  • Conduct regular review of product and customer portfolio to maximize bottom line impact, while achieving topline target performance
  • Periodic assessment of inventory (raw material, packing material, WIP and FG stock), receivables and payables to identify budget vs. actual gaps
  • Identify excess stocks and drive liquidation; identify aging A/R and drive collection
  • Identify bottleneck processes / operations resulting in stock build up, explore initiatives and drive actions to debottleneck
  • Guide development of business case for proposed capex investments to help improve company's performance
  • Drive improvement in systems and processes to enable consistent and reliable flow of information for management decision making

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management/Marketing or equivalent. MBA is an added advantage
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and high confidence in stating professional opinions
  • 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in business transformation or corporate strategy roles in the industry or with leading management consulting or private equity firms
  • Any past work exposure to manufacturing or any industrials sectors is a plus
  • Aggressive, ambitious, able lead a team, results driven, strategic
