Key responsibilities include:Set and execute the national commercial strategy for packaging, aligned to market opportunities, portfolio priorities, and long‑term growth goals.Identify high‑potential segments and key accounts within FMCG and adjacent industries; define entry strategies and win plans for priority customers.Build strategic, long‑term customer partnerships that move beyond transactional selling-focusing on value creation, service levels, and multi‑year agreements.Lead and develop the commercial organization (sales, key accounts, commercial ops), raising capability, accountability, and performance.Personally anchor top‑tier accounts-owning senior relationships, quarterly business reviews, and executive‑level negotiations.Own pricing strategy and margin governance, including list/contract pricing, discount controls, contribution analysis, and mix improvement.Run a disciplined forecasting and pipeline cadence, improving forecast accuracy, conversion rates, and visibility for Operations and Finance.Partner tightly with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, and NPD, ensuring commercial commitments are executable and cost‑aligned.Translate customer requirements into operational plans, agreeing service levels, lead times, and inventory policies that protect margins and reliability.Drive continuous improvement in customer experience, using VOC/market insights to inform quality, NPD, and service enhancements.Standardize commercial processes and tools, including opportunity management, proposals, contract frameworks, and performance dashboards.Build a succession bench and coaching culture, with clear KPIs, reviews, and development paths for future leaders.The Successful ApplicantA results‑driven commercial leader from B2B manufacturing, ideally in packaging, plastics, or FMCG‑linked sectors-comfortable operating from boardroom to shop floor, with proven success in pricing, key accounts, and cross‑functional delivery.
