About Our Client

Our client, is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive business growth. The successful candidate will identify new opportunities, build client relationships, and implement strategic initiatives. This role requires a proactive individual with in-depth knowledge and a Hunter Mindset. This person will be contributing to their expanding business objectives.

Job Description

  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop strategies to acquire new clients and increase market share.
  • Client Relationship Management: Proactively engage potential clients, present company services, and develop strong, lasting relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and loyalty.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with leadership to establish business development goals and strategies. Develop and implement action plans to achieve sales targets and operational objectives.
  • Proposal & Presentation Development: Create and deliver compelling, customized presentations and proposals. Negotiate contracts and agreements to close new business deals.
  • Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Utilise market insights to improve business development strategies.
  • Internal & External Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to meet client needs. Facilitate communication between clients and project teams to ensure successful projects and client satisfaction. Identify cross-selling opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking: Maintain detailed records of business development activities and client interactions. Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, open to all industries.
  • Strong understanding of industry practices, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective client relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English and Malay; additional languages are a plus.
