Job Description

  • Oversee the delivery of fund administration services to clients, focusing on private debt and other alternative investment funds
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing operational issues and requests
  • Review and approve Net Asset Value calculations and associated reporting
  • Coordinate investor capital activities, annual financial audits, and other statutory reporting
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of fund documentation and apply terms to financial reporting and allocations
  • Stay current with accounting principles and develop solutions for complex issues
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, brokers, and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery and timely completion of deliverables
  • Participate in new fund onboarding processes
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency
  • Manage work allocation and team utilization, ensuring appropriate cross-training and coverage
  • Contribute to company and client initiatives beyond regular responsibilities
  • Mentor and develop team members to foster a high-performing, collaborative environment

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional accounting qualification preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, auditing, or fund administration, with a focus on alternative investments
  • Proven track record in team leadership and management
  • In-depth understanding of the fund industry, with knowledge of private credit or loan products as an advantage
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Singapore GAAP
  • Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran and Yardi
