Job Description

  • Promote and sell the company's chemical products to assigned industries and customers
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet annual revenue and profit targets
  • Implement sales strategies within your area of responsibility
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry data to identify new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service, Logistics, Regulatory) to ensure smooth operations
  • Liaise with government bodies (e.g., Customs, DCA) for licenses, tariffs, and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee product registration, approvals, and ensure compliance with import/export regulations
  • Prepare forecasts, reports, and market intelligence updates for management

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Sales Manager should be:

  • Degree holder with at least 5 years' experience in sales & marketing, ideally chemicals sector
  • Independent, self-motivated, and confident communicator
  • Strong customer service orientation with attention to detail
  • Willing to travel locally and overseas
  • Energetic, trustworthy, and proactive in gathering market insights
