Job Description

As this role is essential to the organization, it is vital candidate comes with a track record of delivery and proven experience. Among the many responsibilities are listed below:

  • To ensure all business controls issues are consistently remediated throughout the company in line with global requirements as identified by the global and functional business controls group
  • To ensure risk and audit items is appropriately addressed in the local board of management and steps are taken to mitigate future risks
  • To plan, develop and execute audits and ensure appropriate analysis, documentation and reporting to Management in Internal Controls Committee (ICC)
  • To ensure audit action plans of internal audits are follow-up as scheduled
  • To develop and communicate a crisis management plan and ensure the business continuity plan is follow and communicate
  • To disseminate and enforce all regulatory policies and procedures are documented, implemented, and communicated
  • To ensure all firm and regulatory policies and procedures are documented, implemented, and communicated
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Assistant Manager will be confident in leading from the front and be responsible for the growth of the company and must posses the below requirements;

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ Business Admin/ Communication or equivalent. Candidates with professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA) is a plus
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Project Management/Strategy/Business Development/Communication
  • Project Management experience is essential
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think creatively
  • Able to work under pressure and meet strict datelines
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • An adaptable person with good communication skills in both written and spoken
  • Excellent Project and Process Management skills
  • MS Office, PowerPoint and preferably Open Workbench, or other standard software usually used in project management
