The Assistance Finance Manager/ Manager for Shared Services is a key member of the finance team, responsible for supporting financial operations within a shared services environment. This role involves managing financial processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting.

Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor budgetary performance and report on variances
  • Oversee the financial operations within the shared services center.
  • Streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement best practices in financial management and shared services.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
  • Maintain and enhance internal control procedures.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for audit processes.
  • Act as a liaison between the finance department and other departments.
  • Communicate financial results and insights to management and stakeholders.
  • Handle queries and provide financial advice to stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a shared services environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken to serve Mandarin and English speaking market
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
