Our client is a turnkey engineering solutions provider, that is expanding into renewable energy organization focused on next-generation energy solutions. They are known for delivering reliable, efficient, and future-ready power infrastructure.

Job Description

  • Develop technical proposals for BESS projects, including system design, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Design and optimise battery energy storage systems for renewable energy applications
  • Research energy storage technologies, trends, and best practices to improve system performance
  • Engage customers to understand technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with regulators, authorities, suppliers, partners, and internal teams across procurement, assembly, logistics, finance, and execution
  • Support business development initiatives with technical expertise
  • Prepare and deliver clear technical presentations to customers and stakeholders
  • Produce detailed reports and recommendations for management and leadership

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering or New Energy Science & Engineering
  • At least 2 years' experience in renewable energy system design and proposal preparation
  • Background in HV electrical power engineering, solar, or power-related projects is an advantage
  • Experience working on projects involving utilities such as TNB is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics, electrical systems, and systems integration
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
