The applicant for this role Will oversee statutory reporting, balance sheet governance, cash management, transfer pricing, and the Financial Control Framework (FCF), supporting multiple markets and collaborating with cross functional teams and business partners. Your role includes leading a team of analysts to manage financial processes, regulatory submissions, and ongoing process improvements in close coordination with business stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain a strong control environment, focusing on the Financial Control Framework (FCF) across the region.
  • Prioritise the maintenance of a healthy balance sheet position, optimising liquidity and financial stability.
  • Support initiatives to enhance cash generation and liquidity management.
  • Drive resolution of complex financial issues by collaborating cross-functionally to address root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their financial requirements and challenges, fostering strong relationships for effective collaboration and communication.
  • Provide timely financial expertise and insightful analysis for ad hoc queries, ensuring alignment with SLA.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards, particularly in financial reporting controls.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process standardisation and efficiency improvements, utilising strong financial data interpretation skills to deliver accurate variance analysis and insightful commentary for statutory reporting.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent, with at least 5-6 years of experience in General Accounting or Controlling.
  • Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to communicate financial issues clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experienced in change management and fostering engagement.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively within diverse global teams.
  • Proficient in SAP.
