About Our Client

Our client is a large organisation within the manufacturing sector. They have a strong market presence and are renowned for their high-quality products and commitment to innovation.

Job Description

  • Responsible for a full set of accounting, such as fixed asset listing, inventory listing, General ledger and intercompany transaction
  • Develop monthly cash flow forecasts and oversee cash flow management.
  • Perform financial analysis
  • Enhance the efficiency of financial controls by implementing continuous improvement and maximising the potential of automated systems.
  • Prepare and handle local statutory audits (MFRS), corporate tax reporting, and other Malaysian regulatory filings.
  • Ensure accurate recording of CAPEX and OPEX transactions according to company policies.
  • Supervise monthly financial closing and reporting procedures.
  • Maintain adherence to accounting standards and regulatory obligations.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience needed
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong financial analysis and planning skills
  • Proficiency in using accounting software - SAP would be an added advantage
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
