About Our Client
Our client is a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry. Their vision is to create the best flow experience for people and innovation. They are looking to grow the business in the region and are looking for a Sales Director to drive the business for Malaysia.
The Sales Director will be responsible to boost the sales and market development. This role will be reporting directly to the Managing Director in Malaysia and New Equipment Market Director base in Singapore. Planning, executing sales strategy and leading the team with company's standards. The role will also include but not limited to:
- Maintains in depth knowledge of the market dynamics and partner with all the relevant stakeholders.
- Ability to engage with Architects, Interior Designers, Contractors and Consultants.
- Provide and sustain a motivating environment through creating and carrying out a compelling Regional vision for the team.
- Develop specific development plans for each team member focused on improving certain core competencies. This will ensure professional growth, development and effectiveness.
- Continually reviews assigned territories within the region to analyze the business and help Sales Manager to develop strategies and tactics to meet objectives.
The Successful Applicant
- A Bachelor degree in related discipline, Business Management, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 10 years of working experience.
- Good commercial acumen.
- Self-starter and confident, with developed ability to build team work focusing on shared commitment and goals to achieve high standards of performance.
- Ability to work with multi-cultural environment and travel within the region for business.
