As the Channel Sales Manager for Thailand your responsibilities will include:
Manage the Channel business and determine what it takes to make this business viable with the ultimate objectives of securing good sales and margins.
Source for VARs Solution and Business partner and work through them to set up distribution network for channel products and work through them to achieve top line sales and turnover.
Attend to Sales enquiries and generate sales proposal to satisfy the enquiries.
Meet with potential clients to explain proposals and solutions in order to secure the sales away from the competitor. Conduct product presentations and training to clients and users and be able to impart the knowledge on our product strengths and applications and how they meet the requirements of our clients.
Attend to site show-round where necessary and gather information for a quotation.
Submit sales forecast, project tracking reports, won/lost/pending reports and all other reports related to the project as required by management.
Defend and increase our market share by understanding the activities of the competition and compete aggressively in the market.
Maintain our customer base by ensuring accounts is assigned properly maintained and serviced.
Work with Technical, Projects and Service organization to ensure smooth execution of projects and to ensure full customer satisfaction.
To be the product champion of channel products and in so doing, be the key resource person in the organization for that product.
Create and retain strong distribution channels.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in applying for this position you must possess the following qualifications:
Minimum 10 years experience in IT, distributor
Strong communicator in both written and verbal
Successful sales track record
Strong leadership skills and able to lead a team.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
Problem solver , good at conflict management
Pleasant, co-operative, self-motivated, team player and result oriented
Strong influencing and negotiations behaviors
Good knowledge in multimedia tools and applications
Excellent business ethics and integrity
Can do' attitude and sense of urgency
Focuses on operational details and accuracy whilst being able to see the big picture and develop
