About Our Client
Our client is a global MNC in Elevator Industry specializing in the areas of safety and communication products. They are looking to strengthen their business growth within the Asia Pacific region whereby Kuala Lumpur is the hub. Currently looking for a strong talent to take up the Account Manager role to sustain and grow the business for the region.
The Account Manager will be responsible to enhance relationship with existing clients and driving new businesses for the company. This role will be reporting to the Area Sales Manager and role includes and not limited to:
- Responsible for the sales in Malaysia and across the South East Asia region with direct account responsibility for a set of existing, development & target customer accounts. The customers range from Lift Manufacturers, Lift Component Manufacturers, Maintenance and Modernization Contractors, Distributors and also influencing companies such as architects, consulting engineers and some end customers.
- Development, Establish & Maintain excellent business relationships with key customer targets through regular contact (telephone, mail, visits, etc.)
- Assist customers with technical solutions /problem solving, product trials, general field support where required.
- Understand in detail the target accounts structure, products, manufacturing locations / capabilities, key decision makers and decision making process.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor Degree in Business/Engineering or equivalent experience in sales, marketing &/or engineering.
- Previous experience of working in industrial products / electronics / telecommunications equipment industry is preferable but not mandatory
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years external sales experience gained within a business to business environment.
- Previous experience of specification & project sales is advantageous but not essential
- Willingness to travel to regional hub to continuously grow the business.
